ZEPHYRHILLS, FL — A Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office detention deputy cadet was arrested for domestic violence battery in Pasco County on Sunday afternoon, the agency said in a news release.
The Zephyrhills Police Department responded to the 6800 block of Shelby Lynn Way in Zephyrhills around 5:30 p.m. and arrested Ivan Feliciano Heredia, the sheriff’s office said.
Heredia has worked for HCSO since Dec. 8.
“This behavior is unacceptable and does not reflect the values of the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office,” Sheriff Chad Chronister said. “We hold every member of this agency to the highest standards of conduct, regardless of their tenure. Let me be clear: no one is above the law, and any individual who violates it will be held fully accountable.”
