Over in Disney Springs, there are SO many different restaurants to try, but we’ll be honest — even some of our favorites sometimes have bad days.
Which is exactly why we make it a mission to go back to restaurants over and over again to give them more chances, because things can change on a dime! We recently headed back over to eet at Maneet Chauhan to try some of their newer eats, and we’ve gotta be honest — there’s only one of them that really stood out to us in a good.
Back in February, we grabbed the Chana Masala Nachos for $14.95, which are made with Tri-colored tortilla chips tossed in the restaurant’s signature Bubble’s seasoning, layered with Chickpea Chole, drizzled with Raita, Tamarind, and Mint Chutneys, and then finished with fresh Kachumber, Crispy Boondi, Cilantro, and a bit of Chaat Masala.
Unfortunately, we were NOT a fan of these. There was so much salt and spice that we didn’t really get any flavor, only heat, and the red sauce didn’t pair well with any of the other ingredients. We really wanted to enjoy them, but alas, it was just too much for us.
We had really high hopes for the Cookies n Cream Martini, which is also available for $14.95, but again, this one let us down. Now, if you like strong drinks, this will likely be your cup of tea, but this honestly just tastes like straight vodka with some whipped cream…but that also has vodka in it.
For us, it was so strong it was hard to stomach, even after only a few sips. You’ll really have to love VERY strong drinks to be a fan of this, but otherwise, we suggest avoiding it.
More recently, we tried the Queen Bee for $15.95, which is apple vodka, peach schnapps, pineapple juice, and cranberry juice with honey boba pearls.
Now, this drink was the total opposite — it was so fruity and refreshing, we hardly tasted the alcohol! The pineapple and green apple were the most prominent flavors, but we also really enjoyed the popping pearls and the sweetness they added. It was refreshing for a hot day, and that little bee friend on top just made it even better!
We’ll continue to keep you updated on all the latest Disney Springs news, so stay tuned to AllEars!
