Some of the top NFL prospects were on display at Miami’s Pro Day on Monday.

Defensive lineman Rueben Bain Jr. showed off his skills in front of NFL scouts as he looks to submit himself as a top pick in this year’s draft.

Cornerback Keionte Scott also displayed his athleticism on Monday, posting a 40-yard dash time in the low-to-mid-4.3s and a 44″ vertical.

Bain is considered to be the No. 5 overall prospect in this year’s draft class by Bleacher Report’s NFL Scouting Department. In the latest mock draft from Bleacher Report, Bain is projected to land with the Kansas City Chiefs, who have the No. 9 pick.

Bain recorded 121 tackles, 20.5 sacks and four forced fumbles in three seasons with the Hurricanes. The Miami native had a tremendous 2025 campaign, posting 54 tackles, 9.5 sacks, a forced fumble and an interception on his way to winning ACC Defensive Player of the Year.

He helped lead Miami to its first national championship appearance since 2003.

Scott is considered to be the No. 23 cornerback in this year’s draft class and the No. 142 player overall by Bleacher Report’s NFL Scouting Department. Scott, 24, is on the older side since he spent two years at the JUCO level before three years at Auburn and one season at Miami.

He’s coming off the best season of his career in which he recorded 64 tackles, five passes defended, five sacks, two forced fumbles, two interceptions and a pair of touchdowns.

Perhaps Scott’s most notable moment from the 2025 campaign was when he recorded a 72-yard pick-six against Ohio State in the College Football Playoff quarterfinal. Scott will look to continue making big plays like that at the NFL level.
