FORT PIERCE – A woman and her companion were arrested on Oct. 18 following an incident where the woman allegedly hit a man living in her house and where the companion allegedly threatened to shoot the victim, according to St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office reports.
At about 10:42 p.m., on Oct. 18, deputies responded to a home in the 5200 block of Seagrape Drive, Fort Pierce in reference to reported burglary and assault.
The victim told deputies that his landlord unlawfully entered the room he rents in the house and hit him. During the incident, the landlord’s companion allegedly stood by holding a firearm and threatened to shoot the complainant if he attempted to defend himself, the victim told deputies.
Deputies arrested Kristi Lee Stewart, 38, of Fort Pierce, for battery – touch or strike and burglary with assault or battery and Geoffery Scott Moore, 34, of Fort Pierce, for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon (without intent to kill); battery – touch or strike; and burglary with assault or battery.
Stewart and Moore were booked into the St. Lucie County Jail.
Stewart is being held on $11,000 bond while Moore is being held on $61,000 bond.
