TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – It’s time for something good!
Florida State Softball held a military appreciation game over the weekend.
The Noles welcomed veterans onto the field to honor their service and give them a well-deserved spotlights.

The first pitch was thrown by Marine veteran and VFW Post Commander Frank Royraft.
He said he was thrilled to meet the team and hear the crowd cheering.

He said while he did manage to get the ball over the plate, it may not have been in the strike zone.
Roycraft, a two-time FSU graduate, called it one of the best days ever, surrounded by Noles, veterans and positive energy.
