FORT PIERCE – Police are searching for a suspect who robbed the Trust Bank, 700 block of Virginia Avenue, Fort Pierce on Oct. 23 at about noon.

Initial investigation revealed that a masked man entered the bank, handed a note to a teller, demanding money and indicating that he was armed.

The teller handed over an undisclosed amount of money and the suspect fled the bank on foot, north through the parking lot, according to police reports.

The suspect is described as Black, wearing black pants, a long-sleeved black shirt, a blue surgical mask and a wide-brimmed hat.

Fort Pierce Police, in establishing a perimeter, conducted a search with K9 units, drones and the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office’s aviation unit but the suspect was not located, according to police reports.

The case remains active.
