The search is on for the boat involved in a deadly hit-and-run of a small dinghy last night near the Meloy Channel by Indian Creek and Biscayne Point off Miami Beach. FWC Officer George Reynard says a father and son were ejected from the seven-foot dinghy that had no lights. Both were recovered by first responders in the water before being transported to the hospital where the father died. No word yet on the son’s name or age. Witnesses say a dark blue boat with twin outboard motors fled the scene.
