Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office investigators said the call came in around 6:20 a.m. Thursday, and no device was found.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office (JSO) investigators say the Wal-Mart on Baymeadows Road near State Road 115 is all-clear after searching the store and nearby area following a bomb threat to the store.

JSO investigators said their officers were called around 6:20 a.m. Thursday to the Wal-Mart after a threat to detonate an explosive device using a vehicle in the parking lot.

Store management chose to have the store searched and everyone inside the store evacuated across the street with a safety officer. No other businesses in the area were open at the time.

Investigators said officers searched the area with police K9s and no explosive devices were located. Business returned to normal by 8:10 a.m.

JSO does not have a suspect in the case at this time.
