The Florida State Seminoles are looking for their first wide receiver commitment in the 2027 cycle, and they are a finalist for another target.
Three-star prospect Jordan Christie told Benjamin Wolk of 247Sports that he is down to the Seminoles, Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, Georgia Bulldogs, and Arkansas Razorbacks. The Ellenwood, Georgia native was previously committed to Georgia Tech, but backed off his commitment in December of 2025.

FSU has worked quickly to become a factor in his recruitment, offering him a scholarship on Jan. 29 and hosting him on a visit in March. That visit is why they are one of his finalists, Christie told Wolk.
“Florida State is in my final four because, when I went down there, I felt the energy at their practices,” he explained. “I’ve also built strong relationships with all the coaches down there.”
Christie is ranked as the No. 472 overall player and No. 56 wide receiver in the 247Sports composite. He is also the No. 51 player from Georgia.
Despite decommitting from them, Georgia Tech is still in a great spot to land Christie. He is set to return for an unofficial visit in April and an official visit on June 5, the only one he has scheduled.
