Seminole museum offers view of pioneer history

The Seminole Historical Museum, which is open Thursdays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., is located at Seminole City Park, 7464 Ridge Road.

Come and step back in Seminole’s pioneer history and view the new laser replica of locomotives on Pinellas County train tracks in the 1920s that stopped at the Oakhurst Station just west of the museum. Catch up on this industry’s presence in Pinellas that gave Floridians the development of a thriving citrus business and tourist opportunities.
