ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Three suspects are facing multiple charges after police say nearly $3,000 in merchandise was stolen from a CVS in St. Petersburg, according to arrest affidavits.

Investigators say Louise Augusta Remme entered the CVS on 54th Avenue S, loaded a cart with various items, and bypassed all points of sale before exiting the store. Affidavits state the stolen goods totaled $2,979.15. Remme allegedly transferred the merchandise into a waiting vehicle driven by Vishesh Chandrasen Prasad, with a third suspect, Michael Johnson, also involved.

Police later stopped the vehicle, where all the stolen items were recovered. Remme is charged with grand theft as well as resisting an officer without violence and possession of drug paraphernalia after officers reported finding a crack pipe accessible to her.

Prasad faces a series of drug-related charges, including possession of psilocybin, possession of crack cocaine, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was also charged with driving with a suspended license, with records showing a prior conviction.

Johnson, listed as a co‑defendant, was taken into custody on a grand theft charge.

All three suspects were arrested at the scene and booked into the Pinellas County Jail.
