Popular streamer “Clavicular,” who is known for his viral “looksmaxxing” content online was arrested Thursday night in Fort Lauderdale, according to police.

The 20-year-old streamer, whose legal name is Braden Eric Peters, was arrested about 8:30 p.m. He is charged with misdemeanor battery in Osceola County and is being held in Broward Main Jail on an out-of-county hold.

The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office had requested the assistance of Fort Lauderdale Police in “locating a subject with an active warrant for misdemeanor battery,” spokesperson Casey Liening said in an email. “A short time later, FLPD located and arrested Braden Peters.”

The arrest is one of multiple run-ins with law enforcement pertaining to Peters’ activities in Florida.

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission is also investigating a video that shows Peters shooting at what appears to be a dead alligator during a stream while on an airboat in the Everglades.

“The FWC is aware of a video depicting individuals in the Everglades on an airboat who appear to be discharging firearms at an alligator,” the agency said in a statement on X Thursday night. “FWC officers are looking into the incident and will provide additional information when available. The alligator was dead before anyone shot it, according to Peters’ publicist, Mitchell Jackson.

“The alligator was dead when the boat came upon it,” he told the South Florida Sun Sentinel in an email. “Nobody in Clavicular’s team harmed an alligator.”

After the hail of gunfire, Peters is shown sitting back down and saying “yeah, I think it’s dead,” according to clips of the video shared online.

Jackson declined to respond to questions about the battery charge. The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office did not immediately respond to emailed questions Friday.

Peters is known for being the face of the “looksmaxxing” community, a largely online community made up of men who seek to optimize their appearances through invasive measures such as hammering their jaws and taking steroids.
