TAMPA, Fla. (WWSB) – A vibrant celebration of culture, food, and community is coming to downtown Tampa Saturday with the 2026 Tampa Asian Pacific Islander Cultural Festival at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park.
The free event will showcase the rich diversity of Asian American and Pacific Islander cultures, with live performances representing countries including Korea, China, India, Japan, and the Philippines, as well as Pacific Island traditions from Hawaii and Samoa.
Attendees can enjoy a wide variety of Asian and Pacific Island street foods, browse booths featuring authentic crafts, clothing, and décor, and take part in activities for all ages, including the Asian Pacific Islander Singing Idol competition.
The festival also includes educational exhibits and free health screenings, giving the community a chance to learn about and experience AAPI heritage.
Organizers said the event is designed to bring people together, highlight the beauty and diversity of Tampa’s AAPI community, and provide a memorable day of culture, unity, and fun.
The festival is free and open to the public. It’s happening on Saturday, March 28th, from noon to 7 p.m. at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park. To learn more about the event, click here.
