As Key Biscayne residents rediscover the new innovations at the Ritz Carlton Key Biscayne, Miami, which recently reopened after a $100 million transformation, a lot of attention and conversation has been centered around the transformation of the previous Lightkeepers space.

Luma, a modern 310-seat restaurant with sun-lit interiors and cuisine inspired by Italy’s coastal regions, is now home to the former Lightkeepers.

Luma will also bring back one of the Island’s more popular dining events, the Easter Sunday buffet. Luma’s Executive Chef Patrizio La Gioia and his team have elevated the Easter brunch experience with a selection of Italian inspired dishes, along with a raw bar featuring oysters, caviar and crab.

For beverages, there is a Build-Your-Own Bloody Mary bar stocked with bacon, olives, celery, Tajin and more. There’s also a special Love Story Mimosa Station, with a variety of juice offerings and berry garnishes.

The Easter Sunday brunch will be served from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. The cost per person is $195 for adults and $79 per child (ages 4–12).

For residents looking to try Luma, they will enjoy an elevated Italian dining experience, highlighting handmade pastas, a signature Josper oven program featuring fish, seafood, premium cuts of meat and seasonal vegetables finished over natural binchotan and oak coals.

Chef La Gioia continues to evolve Luma’s culinary program with the introduction of new dishes that blend authentic Italian regional cuisine with global influences. Born in Paris and raised in Puglia, Italy, where he grew up in a culture where meals were at the center of daily life, La Gioia’s foundation was built in some of the world’s most elite and exacting kitchens, including formative training at MICHELIN-starred Per Se in New York and I Portici in Bologna.

It’s the same spirit he brings to Luma, where guests can anticipate antipasti such as baby beet salad with beets, whipped ricotta, ricotta salata, pistachio, aged balsamic and baby arugula. There’s also beef carpaccio, with sun-dried peppers, ricotta salata, cured egg and arugula, as well as a tuna crudo pizza with black truffle crema, Parmigiano Reggiano and black garlic.

For seafood lovers, there is a selection ranging from sea bass puttanesca with Chilean sea bass, cherry tomatoes, garlic, anchovies, capers, olives, chives and white wine butter. Guests preferring something meatier, can try the Kurobuta pork chop, with mascarpone polenta, rosemary and peperonata. Guests can also try Josper-roasted specialties including a Bistecca Fiorentina for two. There is also a 40-ounce prime porterhouse seasoned with rosemary, fennel pollen and lemon. Branzino Oreganata is cooked with citrus, Sicilian oregano and pistachios. Vegetable-forward dishes include a celery root steak with maitake mushrooms and salsa verde.
