Looking for a Sunday night plan with a little cultural flair? The Alhambra Orchestra’s season finale at FIU offers an evening of Mozart and Beethoven with tickets starting at just $5.
The Alhambra Orchestra closes out its season with “World of Music,” a family-friendly performance set for Sunday, April 26 at 7:30 p.m. at the FIU Wertheim Performing Arts Center.
The program opens with Hubler’s Concerto for Four Horns, highlighting the orchestra’s brass section, followed by Mozart’s Violin Concerto No. 4 performed by FIU professor and Amernet Quartet first violinist Misha Vitenson.
The evening wraps with Beethoven’s iconic Symphony No. 5, one of the most recognizable pieces in classical music.
Known as one of Miami’s grassroots orchestras, the Alhambra Orchestra focuses on bringing live classical performances to the community in accessible, affordable venues. This concert continues that tradition with ticket prices at just $5 for seniors and students and $10 for adults.
