More than 1,000 fill the front steps of Old Florida Capitol for No Kings Rally

  • March 30, 2026

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Across the nation millions of people protested for the widespread ‘No Kings Rally’ including right here in the Capital City.

Organizers estimated more than 1,400 people filled both sides of the road at the Old Florida Capitol, Saturday afternoon.

Protesters gathered to denounce the Trump administration, call out ICE and demand policy change on a national level.

WCTV spoke with the president of Tallahassee Students for a Democratic Society, JJ Glueck, she said that this demonstration is their chance to give a voice to those who aren’t able to speak out for themselves.

Florida GOP chairman Evan Power, responded to the protest in a statement.

“We will continue to focus on solving the problems of real Floridians not play dress up at a make believe rally.”
