PALM CITY, Fla. (CBS12) — Students at Hidden Oaks Middle School in Martin County experienced an unusual sulfur-like smell that caused disruptions throughout the school day on Wednesday.
According to the school’s principal, Christopher Forte, the source of the odor was a portable restroom being used as part of a roofing project.
To address the issue, the school administration said that they are taking steps to relocate the portable restroom away from the school premises.
