A 34-year-old woman was arrested after authorities said she dumped her iced coffee over the head of a stranger in a wheelchair on the Magic Kingdom ferry, according to law enforcement records.

Amanda Pinheiro Muir was charged with battery on a person 65 years or older. Pinheiro Muir pleaded not guilty in February, according to Orange Circuit Court records. Her lawyer did not respond to a request for comment.
The incident happened around 1 p.m. February 28 between Pinheiro Muir and the victim. The confrontation began when the crowds were getting off the ferry to go to the theme park.
The arrest report contains contradictory information on how the fight began. The victim said Pinheiro Muir told her to watch her feet.
The victim waited for more people to get off the boat, and when Pinheiro Muir passed her, Pinheiro Muir then told her, “I could just punch you in the face,” according to the Orange County Sheriff’s arrest report.
The victim “laughed it off,” the arrest report said. Then, Pinheiro Muir threw her drink on the victim. The victim’s husband said the couple were sitting on a bench and waiting for everyone to disembark because his wife uses a wheelchair.
“Watch my feet,” the victim said to her husband because she was worried about getting stepped on, the husband reported to authorities.
When law enforcement interviewed Pinheiro Muir, the Brazilian said the victim, “was saying mean things about her son on the ferry,” the arrest report said. That made Pinheiro Muir upset and she admitted she poured her drink on the victim.
The victim wanted to prosecute. Pinheiro Muir was handcuffed and taken to Orange County Jail after law enforcement said there was probable cause to charge Pinheiro Muir with battery on a person 65 or older.
The arrest report said Pinheiro Muir was born in Brazil but did not say where she currently lives. Pinheiro Muir needed a Portuguese interpreter in court, according to court records.
