Tastes Pretty Good, a group recognized for their dining ventures in Tampa like Rocca and Streetlight Taco, is planning to open Lumbre, a Spanish-style restaurant featuring wood-fired cooking in North Hyde Park’s Rome Collective. Diners can look forward to a menu filled with grilled dishes, authentic paella, and delicious tapas.

Located in the 40,000-square-foot Rome Collective, Lumbre aims to invigorate Tampa’s dining landscape. Situated at North Rome Avenue and North A Street, just west of downtown Tampa, it is part of a retail development in North Hyde Park.

With leadership from the Tastes Pretty Good team, this endeavor benefits from over 75 years of industry experience. Their other establishments include Rocca, a Michelin-starred location in Tampa Heights, and Streetlight Taco, a popular choice on Henderson Blvd.

The group’s extensive experience in Italy, Mexico, and France underscores their wide-ranging culinary expertise. They previously launched Bar Terroir, a French establishment also located on Henderson Blvd. Now, they are bringing Spanish flavors to the table with Lumbre.

Lumbre is currently hiring for various positions. Interested individuals should send their resumes to careers@lumbretampa.com. The opening date has not yet been announced.

Fans can stay updated on the opening by following @lumbretampa on Instagram, a hub for news as Lumbre approaches its launch.
