  • October 26, 2025

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – The Tallahassee community came together Saturday for the fourth annual Frenchtown Renaissance.

WCTV’s Lanetra Bennett was on the panel for the ‘Power of Us’ and discussed ways to keep Tallahassee’s neighborhoods safe. In this panel, attendees heard from survivors, law enforcement and mental health professionals.

Many people gathered at Carter Howell Strong Park for the event in Historic Frenchtown. There was also live entertainment, activities for children, local vendors, health screenings and giveaways.

Organizers said the event was also about connection.

“The Frenchtown Renaissance is about more than a day of fun — it’s about connecting residents of all economic statuses with opportunities and local resources, uplifting families and strengthening our community.”
