A Cape Coral father said a motorcyclist hit their truck while fleeing police on Tuesday morning. Romi Huleis said he was about to cross Country Club Boulevard near Veterans Parkway when a motorcycle slammed into his truck just before 10 a.m. “I was just parked and heard a revving engine behind me, and then suddenly something slammed into my car, and a biker went flying,” Huleis said. Huleis said the impact sent the motorcycle across two lanes of the road before a police officer came running toward the motorcyclist. “I couldn’t believe how fast he was, and he jumped on the guy’s back,” Huleis said. “He was trying to fight the cop off.”Moments later, Huleis said he approached the Cape Coral police officer and saw drugs lying on the road. “I walked back to the cops, and I saw — it looked like a little crack pipe or meth pipe or something sitting on the floor,” Huleis said. Huleis said two of his sons were in the truck when the motorcycle crashed into their vehicle. The father said he has some slight neck pain, and his son has a rash from the seat belt movement during the crash. Gulf Coast News is working to learn who was driving the motorcycle. “I was just parked and heard a revving engine behind me, and then suddenly something slammed into my car, and a biker went flying,” Huleis said.

Huleis said the impact sent the motorcycle across two lanes of the road before a police officer came running toward the motorcyclist.

“I couldn’t believe how fast he was, and he jumped on the guy’s back,” Huleis said. “He was trying to fight the cop off.”

Moments later, Huleis said he approached the Cape Coral police officer and saw drugs lying on the road.
