The Jacksonville Jaguars are (temporarily) on the move.

With Jacksonville’s EveBank Stadium slated to undergo a nine-figure renovation after the 2026 season, the Jaguars received unanimous approval from NFL owners to play the home slate of their 2027 season at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, the team announced Tuesday.

While the current renovations will make EverBank Stadium unusable in 2027, the team said it is expected to be complete and ready for the 2028 season.

A quote from Jaguars owner Shad Khan in the team’s announcement:

“The Jaguars couldn’t ask for a better scenario than Orlando and Camping World Stadium as our temporary home in 2027. This couldn’t have happened without the endorsement of the league and team owners who approved our plan two years ago for a renovated Stadium of the Future in Downtown Jacksonville, and we’re especially appreciative of the support of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers during the process. We’re also grateful to the team at Florida Citrus Sports that made this solution a reality that will benefit all, including Jaguars fans just a few hours away in Jacksonville. This is a win that everyone can celebrate.”

The deal will place a second team in Central Florida alongside the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Camping World Stadium is currently the home of the Citrus Bowl, the Cure Bowl and the Pop-Tarts Bowl, but has never had an NFL tenant.

With a listed football capacity of 60,219, Camping World Stadium will give the Jaguars the smallest home in the NFL. The Chicago Bears’ Soldier Field is the current smallest by capacity at 61,500.
