Seminole is 9-1 against St. Petersburg since April of 2019 and they’ll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Warhawks will host the Green Devils at 7:00 p.m. Seminole is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they’ve averaged 8.2 runs per game this season.

Seminole is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Northeast just ended the team’s three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Vikings.

Ellory Farmer made the most of her time in the batter’s box despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double.

Meanwhile, St. Petersburg had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. Everything went their way against Bayshore on Monday as they made off with a 17-1 victory. Considering the Green Devils have won four games by more than ten runs this season, Monday’s blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Ryann Vigue, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with five RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kennedy Curro, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.

St. Petersburg was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .435. They are 4-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

St. Petersburg’s win bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Seminole, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-4.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Wednesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Seminole has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.3 stolen bases per game. However, it’s not like St. Petersburg struggles in that department as they’ve been averaging 3.2 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.

Everything went Seminole’s way against St. Petersburg in their previous matchup back in April of 2025, as Seminole made off with a 9-3 victory. Do the Warhawks have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Green Devils turn the tables on them? We’ll have the answer soon enough.
