Challenger Learning Center hosting free Artemis II launch watch party on Wednesday

  • April 1, 2026

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – The Challenger Learning Center in Tallahassee will open its doors Wednesday night to offer an immersive, awe-inspiring way to watch the Artemis II launch.

Doors open at 6 p.m. ahead of the launch, with viewing taking place in the Fogg Planetarium. It’s free for the public to attend.

Challenger Learning Center marketing manager, Kaley Gross, says watching the launch in the planetarium is an experience unlike any other.

“It offers a really unique experience for viewing. We have a huge high-definition screen that creates a really immersive viewing experience,” Gross said.

The center will also show other live streams during the launch to add to the experience and will have staff nearby to answer any questions.
