Palmer Trinity is a perfect 4-0 against Hialeah-Miami Lakes since April of 2023 and they’ll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Falcons will be playing at home against the Trojans at 4:00 p.m. Palmer Trinity is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they’ve averaged 6.8 runs per game this season.

Palmer Trinity took a ten-run loss the last time they faced off against Monsignor Pace, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Falcons sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-1 victory over the Spartans on Tuesday.

Pedro Castillo spent all seven innings on the mound, and it’s clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on two hits and racked up 12 Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn’t given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Joshua Martinez was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. David Herrera was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hialeah-Miami Lakes). Everything went their way against Sheridan Hills Christian two weeks ago as they made off with a 20-4 win. The Trojans haven’t had any issues with the Sharks recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

The team relied heavily on Jayden Chapman, who got on base in two of his seven plate appearances with three stolen bases and two runs.

Hialeah-Miami Lakes’ win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Palmer Trinity, their victory bumped their record up to 17-3.

Hialeah-Miami Lakes’ pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Palmer Trinity has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .432. It’s a different story for Hialeah-Miami Lakes, though, as they’ve only averaged .241. Will they be able to contain Palmer Trinity’s hitters?

Everything went Palmer Trinity’s way against Hialeah-Miami Lakes in their previous meeting back in February of 2025, as Palmer Trinity made off with a 10-0 win. Will the Falcons repeat their success, or do the Trojans have a new game plan this time around? We’ll find out soon enough.
