If your ideal Saturday involves bouncing between street food, streetwear and a DJ set, clear your calendar now. One of Miami’s buzziest food events is heading back to Wynwood this spring—and it’s bringing a full-on block party with it.
After drawing thousands of attendees in L.A. and New York, the Complex Family Style Food Festival returns to the open-air grounds of the Mana Wynwood Convention Center on May 2. Since its founding in 2019, the festival has built a reputation for turning a standard food fest into something closer to a cultural mash-up with art installations, merch drops and chef collabs all in the mix.
Family Style is best known for pairing big-name restaurants with streetwear brands to create one-off collaborations you can eat (or wear). Ultimately, that’s been a winning formula—it turns out that the festival’s crowds are just as interested in what’s on the grill as what’s dropping at the merch booth.
This year’s Miami lineup brings in vendors like Double Luck Chinese, Ted’s Burgers, Tina in the Gables, Pari Pari, The Wolf of Tacos and El Bori, along with other local favorites and some out-of-town names. The draw isn’t just the food itself, but also the exclusivity given that many of the dishes and collabs are created specifically for the festival that won’t show up anywhere else. The retail side of the event also turns the day into a sort of treasure hunt. Limited-edition drops from brands like Kids of Immigrants—and collaborations with participating restaurants—mean you might leave with more than just a full stomach.

A rotating lineup of DJs and artists, including names like DZA, Silent Addy, Littlerok, and Sheets & Pillows, will take the stage and a dedicated kids’ area with rides, games, and a caricature studio makes it surprisingly family-friendly for something that still feels very much like a downtown Miami party.
The festival runs from noon to 8 pm, with general admission and VIP options available (the latter includes a private lounge, open bar and complimentary bites).
