The family-friendly Hippity Hop Adventure at the Central Florida Zoo is this weekend.
Hippity Hop Adventure will be held on Saturday, April 4th from 9am to 4pm. The Central Florida Zoo will stay open until 5pm, and last entry is at 4:15pm.
Guests can enjoy a full day of springtime fun around the Zoo, including:
Photos with the Easter Bunny
Music from Mr. Richard
Zoo-wide scavenger hunt with prizes
Treat Trail with themed activity stations around the Zoo
Crafts, kids activities and face painting
DJ dance party on the splash pad
Keeper chats and animal experiences throughout the day
Plus, new this year, guests will also be able to enjoy two new experiences:
Plush Animal Vet Check: Kids can bring their favorite plush animal or purchase one from the Zoo’s gift shop to receive a pretend veterinary check-up. Participants will build a mini habitat carrier and take home an official adoption certificate. $5 donation per exam (This helps provide care for the Zoo animals). FREE plush for the first 30 participants courtesy of IKEA.
Golden Conservation Egg Draw:Â Guests can support wildlife conservation with a donation for a chance to draw one of five Golden Conservation Eggs, each containing a special prize basket.
The Central Florida Zoo’s animal residents will also join in on the celebration with Easter-themed enrichment items in their habitats.
All activities (except face painting and Plush Animal Vet Check – additional fee applies) are included in general Zoo admission. Children 2 and younger are free. General admission tickets can be purchased online. This event is not included in free admission for Annual Pass Holders, but a discounted rate of $5 per person named on the pass is available for this event.
