PORTALES, N.M. (KLTV) — Former Jacksonville Maiden Riley Todd hit her fourth home run of the season in Texas Woman’s 12-6 loss to Eastern New Mexico in the first game of a doubleheader split on Wednesday.
Batting sixth and starting in left field, the senior batted 1-for-4. Todd hit a solo home run in the fourth inning. Through 33 games this season, Todd has 22 RBIs and a .284 batting average.
Texas Woman’s won the second game 9-1. Todd had two RBIs.
Texas Woman’s (23-17, 17-9) is in fifth place in the Lone Star Conference. The team travels to Canyon on Friday for a doubleheader against West Texas A&M.
