St. Petersburg police arrested 18-year-old Charles Chambliss III in connection with a March 22 house fire on Neptune Drive SE that killed 18-year-old Angelina Anderson and injured three others. Investigators say Chambliss set a car on fire under a carport, leading to the blaze, and he now faces charges including murder by arson and attempted murder.
Police also arrested his father, Charles Chambliss Jr., on a charge of tampering with evidence after he allegedly discarded clothing tied to the investigation; he has since been released on bond.
