Former No. 1 pick Travon Walker has agreed to a new four-year contract with the Jacksonville Jaguars worth $110 million, his agency announced on Friday. The deal includes $77 million in total guarantees, with $50 million fully guaranteed at signing.
The Jags picked Walker, a defensive end, first overall in the 2022 NFL Draft out of Georgia, and he has started 60 of his 63 games played. The team picked up his fifth-year option last offseason but has now reached a deal to ensure Walker’s long-term status in Jacksonville.
Walker had his best season in 2024, setting career highs with 10.5 sacks and 61 tackles and adding 15 QB hits. He also returned a fumble for a touchdown in a Week 9 loss to the eventual Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles.
Walker, 25, regressed in 2025, partly because of injuries. He broke his left wrist in Week 4, which required surgery and forced him to miss the following week’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs. Then, in November, Walker suffered a knee injury against the Los Angeles Chargers, which kept him out for two consecutive games. He was limited to 3.5 sacks and 38 tackles for the season.
