The Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne, Miami recently welcomed notable guests, tastemakers, partners and community leaders to its Grand Lawn for “Icon Reborn,” an evening celebrating the resort’s $100 million transformation.
The event was hosted by Karim Alibhai, founder and principal of Gencom, the hospitality investment firm behind the property.
With the Grand Lawn transformed into an elegant social garden, guests enjoyed live bossa nova music, crafted cocktails and a culinary experience inspired by the resort’s newly introduced dining destinations. Dishes were prepared by the executive chef of Luma, Patrizio La Goia, and the executive chef of Paralia, Renato Mekolli, who drew upon the flavors from Greek and Turkish tavernas.
The evening concluded with a fireworks display illuminating the Miami skyline.
