JACKSONVILLE, Onslow County — A Jacksonville man is behind bars after police say he was found with multiple drugs over the weekend.
Jacksonville Police arrested 49-year-old Julian Hughes on Saturday, April 4. He’s now facing charges for possession of methamphetamine, fentanyl, cocaine, and drug paraphernalia.
According to warrants, officers say Hughes had meth, fentanyl, cocaine, and a clear glass smoking device.
Records also show he’s accused of committing this offense while already out on pretrial release for a previous charge of second-degree trespass from August 2025.
Hughes is currently being held in the Onslow County Jail without bond. He’s scheduled to appear in court Monday, April 6.
