Lifeguards at Hollywood and Fort Lauderdale beaches were busy on Easter making dozens of rescues.
Twenty people in Fort Lauderdale and more than 30 in Hollywood were rescued in separate incidents, fire rescue said.
Ocean Rescue even stayed at the beach until 7:30 pm to ensure the safety of beachgoers.
Rough surf and dangerous rip currents are expected today in Miami-Dade, Fort Lauderdale and Palm Beach and tomorrow.
