FORT PIERCE – A 28-year-old Fort Pierce man is in the St. Lucie County Jail on no bond for a first-degree murder charge in the fatal shooting of another man on April 4, according to Fort Pierce Police reports.

Jamario Bernard Dijuan Dunn as arrested by Fort Pierce Police that same day and charged with shooting a man in the 1600 block of North 12th Street, Fort Pierce.

Officers responded to the address at about 4:15 a.m., April 4 in regard to a shooting incident, according to police reports. Upon arrival, officers found an adult male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

Preliminary investigations showed that the suspect approached the victim and fired multiple shots, according to police reports.

Using surveillance footage and statements from area residents, detectives located Dunn’s car and determine that Dunn was in it at the time of the shooting, according to police reports.

Dunn was brought in for questioning and was charged with first-degree murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Dunn has a $50,000 bond for possession, according to jail reports.

The name of the victim has not been released.
