Young Miko has officially announced her Late Checkout Tour in support of her latest album, Do Not Disturb. Spanning 31 dates across 11 countries, the run marks the Puerto Rican star’s biggest tour to date.
The run kicks off on July 3 in Denmark before heading into a stretch in Mexico in September. From there, Miko will make stops in 14 U.S. cities, including New York, Houston, Orlando, Los Angeles, and Miami, where she’ll bring the tour to the Kaseya Center on October 28.
Young Miko’s momentum has only continued to build this past year. Do Not Disturb, debuted at No. 3 on the Top Albums chart, propelled in part by standout tracks like “Wassup,” which notably samples Lil Wayne’s “Lollipop.” Since its release, the album has continued to grow in popularity, further cementing her place as one of Latin music’s most exciting voices.
Her willingness to commit to an arena tour, with only a few years into her career, only goes to show how popular she’s become and how quickly she continues to reach the next level.
Beyond the music, Miko has also expanded her reach through a global Gap campaign, becoming the first Spanish-language artist to do so and allowing fans to connect with her on a broader level. She was also honored at the 37th Annual GLAAD Media Awards, where she received Outstanding Music Artist, recognizing both her artistry and her impact on the LGBTQ+ community.
She’s also continued to branch out of the Latin music sphere, collaborating with the likes of British rapper Central Cee and all-girl K-pop sensation, Katseye. She also contributed to this year’s World Baseball Classic Soundtrack with her song, “MVP”.
Fans also got an early glimpse of Young Miko’s ability to command larger stages last year when she joined Billie Eilish’s Hit Me Hard and Soft tour in select markets, including Orlando, Philadelphia, and New York. She later proved her drawing power once again by announcing two sold-out dates at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico in San Juan, marking her first headlining shows at the iconic venue.
