Community invited to run, walk, or stroll and unite for a more resilient future.
This Earth Day season, join The CLEO Institute to run, walk, or stroll the Race for Our Future® Earth Day 5K at The Underline in Brickell and be part of the community celebration.
Bringing together hundreds of participants from across Miami-Dade County, this family-friendly event will unite individuals, families, students, and community leaders around climate solutions, sustainability, and a shared commitment to protecting South Florida’s future.
“Race for Our Future® is more than a 5K. It’s a powerful reminder that climate action starts at the community level and every step taken represents a commitment to protecting our environment, strengthening our resilience, and securing a healthier future for the next generation,” said Yoca Arditi-Rocha, CEO of The CLEO Institute.
The event will be emceed by Ron Magill, Communications Director of Zoo Miami and Brittnie Bassant, President and CEO of the Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce, bringing energy and community leadership to the day’s festivities.

Participants will enjoy a scenic course stretching from Brickell to Vizcaya Station and back, bringing the community together for a morning of movement, connection, and Earth Day celebration. Following the race, attendees will gather for a vibrant and interactive Eco-Village with music, refreshments, and hands-on activities hosted by mission-driven organizations and community partners.
Proceeds from the Race for Our Future® Earth Day 5K directly support The CLEO Institute’s award-winning programs, including the Climate Resilient Schools initiative and the Empowering Resilient Women Fellowship, which equip communities with the knowledge and tools needed to build as more resilient future.
Now in its milestone year, The CLEO Institute continues to grow across South Florida and nationwide, educating, activating, and inspiring people to become champions for a more sustainable and resilient future.
