CRAWFORDVILLE, Fla. (WCTV) – A memorial service is now scheduled for the Tallahassee police officer who died in a boating crash over the weekend.
The service for Michael “Cody” Allen Terranova is scheduled for Friday at 11 a.m. at the 3Y Ranch in Crawfordville, according to his obituary.
Terranova died on April 3 in an off-duty boating crash on the Wakulla River. He had been with the Tallahassee Police Department since 2007 after graduating from Florida State University with a psychology degree.

A scholarship for the police academy will be established in Terranova’s honor to help support basic recruitment.
The family is asking for donations to be made to the Florida Public Safety Institute.
