Orlando Health has announced plans to acquire RMC Health System in Anniston, expanding its presence in the state of Alabama.

A news release stated RMC Health System, a not-for-profit organization, includes a 375-bed medical center, outpatient facilities, and specialty practices serving patients throughout Northeast Alabama.

Once the acquisition is finalized this fall, RMC will become part of Orlando Health’s Alabama Region, which also includes Baptist Health.
