TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – A woman was seriously injured late Sunday morning after being shot multiple times on Mission Road, according to the Tallahassee Police Department.
The suspect, who TPD identified as a man known to the victim, has not been located by authorities as of Monday morning, TPD wrote in a press release. However, police said this is an isolated incident.
The incident transpired just before 11:30 a.m. Sunday in the 2800 block of Mission Road, police said.

Officers responded to the area due to a woman injured in a shooting, police said. Police responded to the scene and found a woman suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, according to TPD.
As a result, she was transported to a local hospital in serious condition, the press release revealed.
No arrests have been made as of Monday morning, per police.
