‘Just chillin”: Alligator spotted outside Hillsborough County Supervisor of Elections office

TAMPA, Fla. — An alligator was a few weeks too late to cast his ballot after he was spotted outside the Hillsborough County Supervisor of Elections office.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call of a gator  “just chillin’, layin’ in the grass,” outside the office Tuesday morning in Tampa.

A licensed trapper was able to safely remove the reptile and no one was injured.

“Another day in Florida,” HCSO wrote. “The soggy weather must have brought out the wildlife on Tuesday morning.”
