New surveillance video captured the scary moments police said three men broke into a Miami home late last year.
The armed home invasion happened at a home along 8th Street near Southwest 32nd Avenue back on Dec. 29, 2025.
The video showed the suspects, including one who police said was armed, pushing a man to the ground inside the home after he opened the front door.
An arrest report said two of the suspects started punching the victim and covered his mouth to prevent him from yelling before they bound his feet and hands with zip-ties.
The men then forced the victim to open a safe that was at the home, which had about $400 in cash, and they took his gold necklace, bracelet, and ring, police said.
A second victim who was at the home during the robbery said she was asleep and woke up after hearing her roommate screaming for the police to come.
She was also hit by one of the suspects before she was also zip-tied and had her mouth covered, the report said.
The three suspects – Yoamil Napoles, Rogelio Espina, and Augustin Hernandez – were later arrested and charged with robbery/home invasion with a firearm, kidnapping and aggravated battery.
