The Kiwanis of Greater Pine Island has announced that scholarship applications are now open for the 2026 academic year. As part of its ongoing commitment to strengthening the local community, Kiwanis continues to invest in the future of Pine Island students by supporting their educational and career aspirations.
The organization encourages graduating seniors and local graduates pursuing higher education to apply for this meaningful financial assistance opportunity.
Eligibility requirements:
Applicants must:
• Be a graduating high school senior or a high school graduate
• Have applied for admission into a post-high school program or already be attending a post-high school program (college, university, or trade school)
• Live in the Pine Island School District or have attended Pine Island Elementary School
• Demonstrate financial need
All completed applications must be received by May 1, 2026.
Through its scholarship program, Kiwanis remains dedicated to helping local students achieve their academic goals and build successful futures. By supporting education, the organization continues its mission of serving the children of the world — starting right here in Pine Island.
