PALM COAST, Fla. (WFLA) — A Palm Coast woman was sentenced on Tuesday in connection with her August 2025 arrest for treating thousands of patients while posing as a licensed nurse, according to authorities.
The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office said Autumn Bardissa pleaded no contest to unlicensed practice of health care and fraudulent use of identification.

She treated over 4,400 patients without a nursing license, according to FCSO.
Following her plea agreement, a judge withheld adjudication, sentencing her to five years of probation and 50 hours of community service.
FCSO said Bardisa will be required to send a letter of apology to the nurse whose license number she stole.

Bardisa forfeited her nursing license to the Florida Department of Health, which the sheriff’s office said she earned after her arrest.
“Because she chose to circumvent the rules, she ruined her career, and she potentially endangered parents,” Sheriff Rick Staly said.
According to FCSO, she is prohibited from practicing medicine during her probation.
Bardisa was originally charged with seven counts of unlicensed practice of healthcare and seven counts of fraudulent use of personal identification information as a result of the primary investigation.
