VERO BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — The Indian River County Sheriff’s Office is expected to announce the results of several major undercover narcotics investigations during a news conference Wednesday afternoon.

Sheriff Eric Flowers will outline the outcomes of long-term drug operations that the agency says led to numerous arrests, firearms taken off the streets and significant drug seizures near schools and churches.

According to the sheriff’s office, some of the investigations date back to 2025 and involved federal partners, including the Drug Enforcement Administration and Homeland Security Investigations.

The news conference is scheduled for noon Wednesday at the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office auditorium.
