The J.N. “Ding” Darling National Wildlife Refuge on Sanibel reported that its two Pollinator Gardens at the Visitor & Education Center keep growing and getting better. The newest addition — three butterfly-shaped benches — are part of a selfie station. Refuge volunteer, Advanced Florida Master Naturalist, Restoration Florida Master Naturalist and Florida Friendly Landscaping certified professional Barb Wyskowski helped design and plant the gardens. The refuge extended its thanks to all of the supporters who have made the project a reality: Mike and Terry Baldwin, Susen and Jim Berg, the Florida Wildflower Foundation, the Jenni & Kyle Foundation, Phyllis Gresham, Terri Kuhl, the Pine Rock Foundation, Sanibel-Captiva Rotary Club, and Shell Islands Garden Club.
