April 11, 2026 – The City of St. Petersburg has allocated an additional $75,000 for the Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority Transportation Disadvantaged Program to help reduce the financial burden for St. Petersburg residents who rely on public transit. According to a prepared statement, the program provides “reduced-cost transportation to eligible Pinellas County residents.” Additionally, the City covers the “full cost of bus fare” for residents who qualify for the initiative.
