Lightning at Bruins picks and predictionsPrediction
Bruins 4, Lightning 3
Tampa Bay has lost 4 in a row on the road. Boston is 3-1 across its last 4 at TD Garden.
Vasilevskiy has slipped since posting a strong first half. He has logged an .894 SV% in the second half. Since March 24, the Bolts have gone just 4-8-1 on the road. And the Tampa power play is just 1 for its last 27.
Even with its rough road trip, Boston has still scored 3.64 goals per game since March 19. Swayman owns a .917 SV% at home, so look for a bounce-back from him.
TAKE BOSTON (-102).
Lots of juice here; a play to AVOID.
The Over is 3-1 across the last 4 series meetings.
Since mid-March, both sides have found their way to a half-dozen goals in a game several times. Look for the forward play to dictate a potentially high-scoring flow in this one.
The OVER 6 (-118) is the value side in this matinee tussle in Boston.
