April 13, 2026 – Educating Florida’s Future, a new statewide advocacy group founded by Pinellas School Board member Laura Hine, will host its first public town hall April 30 at the President Barack Obama Main Library in St. Petersburg. The event will introduce the organization’s priorities, including school funding transparency, early education access and accountability measures, as well as allow public input.
