Deputies arrive at 5500 block of Old Winter Garden Road

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – A large law enforcement presence was seen at an Orange County business as deputies responded to an armed burglary early Tuesday morning.
Deputies responded around 2 a.m. to the 5500 block of Old Winter Garden Road. According to the sheriff’s office, deputies heard shots fired near the rear of the business and a nearby wooded area.
Deputies immediately reported the gunfire over the radio, prompting a significant law enforcement response to the scene. Officials cleared the large property and the surrounding wooded area but were unable to locate any suspects.
Deputies said there is no indication anyone was shot during the incident, and no shots were fired by deputies or any assisting agencies.
The investigation is ongoing.
