As far as we know, Matt Bomer isn’t starring in any “Doctor Dolittle” sequels.
But the “White Collar” star was just seen hanging with the residents at Animal EDventures in Boynton Beach, and channeling his inner Florida Man.
On the actor’s Instagram Stories over the weekend and reshared by fan sites, Bomer is seen in snaps holding an otter, cradling a sloth and cuddling a baby kangaroo, aka a joey. The safari park, known for its adorable one-on-one encounters, also has a petting zoo full of goats, otters, sheep, cows and lemurs.
We reached out to the park to get more details on Bomer’s VIP tour and were told that the animal experiences are kept “private.” If you’re interested, prices with kangaroo “kuddles” start at $15.
Bomer, who lives with his husband and three kids in Los Angeles, was in the area to accept a Vanguard Award at MDC Wolfson Chapman Center in downtown Friday night at the Miami Film Festival.
The Missouri native, honored for his contributions to the small and big screen, was also supporting his Apple Original Film “Outcome,” directed by Jonah Hill. The currently streaming sleeper hit centers on a disgraced former leading man (Keanu Reeves) who embarks on an apology tour, with a little help from his friends played by Bomer and Cameron Diaz.
The 48-year-old told Hola! that working with the Hollywood veterans was everything he thought it would be and more.
“It’s a testament to what wonderful actors Keanu and Cameron are,” Bomer said. “You’re somehow able to forget that they’re absolute icons and just jump into a scene and act with them.”
